So, yesterday was my birthday, and I took the day off so I could spend some time with friends and some time relaxing. And it was wonderful. I’m not big on my birthday, I mean, it’s not like I did anything that day, I just kinda popped out, so I usually make my birthday about others (specifically, my mom, she’s the one who carried me, gave birth to me, and had to deal with my shenanigans growing up…)
But, since I took the day off, I also the day off from writing, which means I don’t really have a post for you guys today, instead, I want to direct you to a blog post my good friend Trevor Heinrich wrote. I put a little excerpt below with a link to the rest, I hope you enjoy it 🙂
We all have a calling. We all have a home we’re running towards. But where do we go now? What am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to live out this adventure set before me? How do I keep my focus on Heaven and God’s plan instead of mine? How will I know if I need to walk right or left at crossroads in my life? How will I tell apart God’s voice from my own? How will I have the courage and boldness to do the things that are out of my character? That’s the beautiful part… You don’t.
