A Thanksgiving Worth Celebrating

Well, today is Thanksgiving Day. So I guess I’ll be like everyone else and say the things I am thankful for…

First, is my family. Mom, dad, sister, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandma… They have been the ones who have shaped me into who I am today with their love, support, and strength through all my crazy idea’s, plans and escapades… and stood by me through it all.

Next I’d like to thank my “extended” family. Not like cousin family, but those people who are like family to me (ie my adopted parents, brothers, sisters, etc). Glenn, Luli, & Jordan Stoltzfus; Rodney & Stephanie Smoker; Cody & Cameron Hall; Ryan Dagen; Tyler Stoltzfus; My “little bro”, Brandon; Josh Stippich; Gordon Heinrich; Jonathan Masteller; Mahlon Beiler & so many more… You have been my lifelines, always there when I needed something, whether it was someone to talk to, someone to be stupid with, someone to do nothing with and forget what’s on my mind, etc. If my family has shaped me, then you guys have been the support to all the shaping. I know that you will always have my back, believe in me, and be the ones to tell me what I need to hear (not what I want to hear).

Thank you to all the people I work with Shannon, Erica, Heather, Nancy, Ashley, Rodney, & Stephanie. You guys are part of why I love coming in to work every day. You make it fun, you remind me what we are doing this for, and you are there with grace and forgiveness through my mistakes.

And lastly, but definitely not least, I want to thank all the rest of my friends in my life who give me chances to spread my wings, stretch me into areas I’m not comfortable in, and encourage me along the way.

I owe you all so much, and I can’t thank God or you all enough!
