Who Am I?
This is a question that I have been hearing a lot, in one form or another, as I have been talking to a lot of people. This question of who we are is one that runs so deeply in us that, without even realizing it, most things we do are about us trying to answer that question…
So many things can make us look at who we are. It could be a girl, or a lack of a girl, it could be a major life change, or any combination of those things.
Some people say that they have to wait until they have it all together before they are gonna date, or before they make this major change, or whatever. I think that’s crap.
More important than having it all together is knowing that you don’t have it all together and actively working on learning who you are. Because, to be honest, you will never have it all together. Instead we need to begin working on ourselves, and make those changes as we make those major changes in our lives.
Now, there are some things that you need to sort out before a major change, but those depend on the person, the major change, and the issue in your life.
Don’t let this fear of not knowing who you are stop you from moving forward in your life. But make sure that as you make these moves, you are actively working on who you are and becoming the young man or woman that God designed for you to be.
